Arsonists are believed to have set fire to a derelict garage in Oswaldtwistle.
Firefighters were called to the detached garage on John Street, Oswaldtwistle at around 6.40pm on Thursday and spent 20 minutes putting out the fire.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said they were fortunate to catch the fire early to stop it becoming a major blaze.
Nine firefighters used hose reels and the fire is believed to have started deliberately.
