Hyndburn Council met at Accrington Town Hall on Tuesday night.

The meeting was the first since local council elections earlier this month where Labour took control of Hyndburn Council after eight years of unbroken Conservative rule.

Items on the agenda included appointing councillor Miles Parkinson as leader of the council and appointing a mayor and deputy mayor.
