Police have issued a warning that burglars are targeting terraced houses undergoing renovations.
Officers said they have received several reports of burglaries in the Church area over recent weeks.
One property has been targeted three times and items stolen include a gas boiler, power tools and building equipment.
Sgt Ian Corbett said people should not leave tools or property lying around in back yards or gardens and to remove any valuables from homes they are working on.
