A woman was taken to hospital after being mauled by a dog.
Police said the woman, in her 60s, was attacked by a neighbour's dog on Marsden Street in Accrington.
She suffered bite marks to four of her limbs and was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital for treatment.
Her injuries were said to not be life threatening.
Lancashire Police said they were alerted to the incident at around 2.30pm on Sunday, July 13.
The dog was taken away by police who said it is expected to be put down with the permission of its owners.
