World Book Day has seen children across Hyndburn dress up as their favourite characters.

And, after asking for readers to send us their pictures on our Facebook page, we’ve been inundated photographs.

From superheroes like Spiderman, Iron Man and Captain America, to princesses, Harry Potter and Little Red Riding Hood, every single costume has been incredible.
