Huncoat starlet Diana Vickers will be performing on the X Factor stage that made her famous this weekend.

The 19-year-old will sing her new single My Wicked Heart on Sunday’s live results show – her first appearance on the programme since she was eliminated at the semi-final stage in 2008.

During her time on the programme, Diana wowed judges with her performances.

She was also controversially given a week off during the live shows when she suffered a throat infection.

Since her X Factor journey, Diana has obtained a number one album, Songs From the Tainted Cherry Tree, a number one single, Once, and received critical acclaim for her West End debut in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice.

She won the whatsOnStage.com Theatregoers Choice Award London Newcomer of the Year in February 2010.

My Wicked Heart is her third single and samples Red Hot Chili Peppers track Under The Bridge.

It will be digitally released on Sunday, October 17 with a full release on Monday, November 1.
