A staff awards presentation is shown in this week’s top picture.

The employees were snapped by former Observer photographer Garth Dawson in 1977.

Garth said: “This picture shows staff in Stanhill village, Oswaldtwistle, where they manufactured sauces and similar products.

“There was a presentation to two employees which was watched by other members of the works. The works have since been demolished.”

Our next picture shows models at a fashion show in 1977.

Garth said: “The fashion show was at St James’ Church in Accrington and the picture shows three local models posing for the audience in the school room, which was then part of the church.”

Our final photograph this week shows a group of members at the Canine Working Men’s Club on Abbey Street in Accrington in 1977.

Garth said: “They all appear very happy.”

Do you remember the works in Stanhill village or recognise the people from the fashion show or Canine Club?

We want to publish your old pictures.

They can be from any era up to the 1990s.
