Gift Aid scheme

IF YOU are thinking of donating to the appeal you can make your money go further by claiming Gift Aid.
This is a scheme under which the taxman adds an extra 28 per cent to all donations.
To take advantage of this scheme just put your cheque or money in an envelope marked Gift Aid and on a note inside write: “I am a UK taxpayer’’ and include your name, address, signature and postcode. We will do the rest.
