Store’s £418 boost for fund

GENEROUS ASDA shoppers helped the Aspire appeal in the run-up to Christmas.
Just over £400 was raised thanks to bucket collections, a raffle and charity gift wrapping by staff members at the store.
Fundraiser and St John’s church warden Andy Shepherd was approached by the store’s events co-ordinator Louise Ashton about how ASDA could help out.
Mr Shepherd was thrilled with the store’s involvement. He said: "We were very pleased when Louise approached us about the fund-raiser. She suggested the events and we are very happy with the results."
