Mr Evans said: "Since the attack I’ve been having dizzy spells and violent headaches and I’m having to see a consultant at Blackburn Royal’s facial department this week.

"I can’t remember much about what happened, except being picked up. It was completely unprovoked.

"I was just stood at the bar being served when I took a blow to the face. I was out cold for about three or four minutes. When I came round, the barman put ice on my face and taken to hospital by ambulance."
