AN Accrington church opened its doors for local groups to display their talents.

St Andrew’s Church in Swiss Street hosted a performing arts day at the weekend which included a variety of acts from belly-dancers to cheerleaders.

Acts including the Accrington Stanley cheerleaders, the Accrington Comet cheerleaders, St Mary Magadalen’s Primary School choir, the Conchord Singers and the Tarkheena belly dancing troupe performed.
