Danielle stars in saucy TV ad

A SAUCY Clayton-le-Moors girl with a lot of bottle has landed a role in the next HP commercial.

Danielle James, 22, will be appearing on the nation's television screens after beating scores of other women to the tasty role.

Danielle is no stranger to the glamour of TV studios, having appeared as a dancer in Channel 4's hit series Hollyoaks.

She said: "There are a few new HP Sauce adverts and in mine I play the character of a footballer's wife. We filmed it in a furniture shop in Liverpool, of all places, from 10am to 7pm so it was quite an exhausting day.

"There were 50 girls who auditioned for the various roles and only eight were chosen, so I was delighted to be included.

"I want to do more TV work but at the moment I'm concentrating on developing my CV. Then hopefully more roles should follow."

Danielle, who lives with mum Julie, 48, and dad Trevor, 50, in Blackburn Road, is a qualified dance teacher and currently works at the Royal Dance Club in Clayton-le-Moors.

In the summer she taught boxer Ricky Hatton some sexy salsa moves during a charity event for the disabled in Manchester.

And before Christmas Danielle, who attended All Saints Primary and Moorhead High Schools, appeared in a jewellery brochure after being snapped up through a modelling agency.
