ANOTHER group of Pals pose smartly for the camera, little suspecting the dreadful fate that awaited them.
LIEUTENANT Colonel A W Rickman who, with the exception of short breaks, commanded the Pals Battalion throughout the war. He died in a tragic accident involving an electricity generator in 1925 aged 51.
