Accrington Town Hall’s first ever wedding fair will be held this weekend.
Hyndburn Mayor Munsif Dad will welcome guests from all over the region to the inaugural event on Sunday, March 1 from 11am until 4pm.
The fair brings together suppliers and businesses from East Lancashire’s thriving wedding business scene, with a host of exhibitors signed up to showcase their products and services to brides and grooms-to-be.
Two catwalk shows will take a ‘Hollywood meets Bollywood’ theme with two of the regions bridal gown suppliers showcasing a range of gowns from traditional to contemporary designs.
Accrington’s Anne Whittaker Bridal will run the first fashion show from 12noon, followed by Asian bridal specialist Bee’s Boutique, the event’s main sponsors, at 2pm. The free event has been organised by marketing company Scott Dawson Advertising and follows the recent £750,000 makeover of the Town Hall ballroom.
A brochure has been produced to promote the ballroom as a wedding reception venue and guests will be able to browse stands featuring flowers, cakes, accommodation, entertainment and photography.
