A third person has been charged in connection with the death of Mohammed Yousaf.

The body of 65-year-old Mohammed Yousaf was found at a flat on Granville Road in Accrington on September 21.

He had suffered serious head injuries and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Amna Khatoon Arif, 42, of Washington Street, Accrington, has now been charged with perverting the course of justice.

She has been bailed to appear at Blackburn Magistrates on November 17.

Muhammed Arif, 44, of Washington Street, Accrington has previously been charged with murder and Rukshana Bibi, 37, of Wood Street, Todmorden, has previously been charged with conspiring to murder, with a trial set to begin in February at Preston Crown Court.

A 45-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, both from Accrington, who were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, have now been released no further action.
