REMEMBER Accrington Stanley's triumphant return to the Football League with an exhibition which will be held at the Howarth Art Gallery next month.
The show features photographs from Stanley's club photographer "Kipax" looking back over last season, but especially that exceptional day at Woking where they clinched promotion back to the league after 44 years.
There will be action pictures and crowd shots, capturing the moments of elation when Stanley fulfilled their dream and also the celebrations and the civic reception which followed.
There are also letters of congratulations on display from various people, such as Gordon Taylor from the PFA, football clubs, including Blackburn Rovers and other sports, such as Sale Sharks Rugby Union side, as well as the Conference Trophy.
Garth Dawson also has some black and white shots there - from the last time the Reds were in the league in 1962.
The exhibition will run from January 6 to February 18 2007 and is free. The gallery is open from 2-5pm Wednesday-Friday and 12-4.30pm over the weekend.
