STANLEY failed to live up to their favourites tag as Conference North strugglers Worcester City held them to a draw at the Interlink in the FA Cup fourth qualifying round.

Gary Roberts gave the Reds a 16th minute lead with a stunning free kick and it looked like the Football League hopefuls would cruise to a win.

But Andy Preece's City side defended well to keep out the Reds - and Leon Kelly popped up to score a 40th minute equaliser.

"We conceded another sloppy goal," said manager John Coleman. "The crowd have got agitated when we were only winning 1-0 but you only need to win cup games 1-0 - you don't need to win three or four.

"But once again we couldn't hold onto a lead and we did not keep the ball well enough. They might think they have done the hard work now - but they could be in for a big shock."

The replay is tonight (Monday) at St George's Lane with the winners facing a trip to Southern Premier side Chippenham.
