ACCRINGTON Stanley moved up to sixth place in the Nationwide Conference after their comfortable win over Burton Albion.
The Reds never seemed in trouble after taking a ninth minute lead through David Brown and Andy Mangan scored a stunning second on 73 minutes to make it safe.
It was a relief for manager John Coleman as Stanley haven't won at Burton's old ground, Eton Park, since they came into the Conference - but the new 6.4m Pirelli Stadium brought a brighter outlook for his side.
"It was our first win here and we played some good football. I think at one spell we kept the ball for 28 passes which is akin to the Leeds side of the 1970s.
"Both goals were taken well and I was pleased for Mangy after he had missed that one in the last minute at Scarborough."
Brown and Steve Jagielka made the first with a neat one-two with Brown firing home with his left foot.
Burton pressed without really threatening Darren Randolph in the Reds goal but, as Stanley have conceded a goal after going in front in their last three games, there was a few nerves.
But sub Mangan got the ball from a Paul Mullin flick on and superbly curled the ball into the bottom corner of the net to make it two consecutive victories for the promotion chasing Reds.
