ACCRINGTON Stanley fans will be ready and waiting at 5.10pm tomorrow as the draw is made for the first round of the FA Cup.

Since the Reds heroics in 2003/4 season when they knocked out Huddersfield and Bournemouth - before losing to Colchester in the third round - it has been a disappointing competition for Stanley.

They have since been beaten by Leigh RMI, Worcester City and last season, it was Mansfield Town who caused an exit at the first hurdle.

Captain Peter Cavanagh admitted: "I am really looking forward to the FA Cup this year as I was suspended when we went out against Mansfield last season.

"It’s about time we had a run again am sure the chairman wouldn’t mind a few more pennies that a good run can provide.

"So hopefully we can avoid any tricky ties in the first two rounds and get Everton or Liverpool away in the third round - at least that was last night’s dream!"

Stanley could face their old arch enemies Barrow if the Bluebirds knock out Farsley Celtic tomorrow.

All the League One and League Two sides join the draw tomorrow.

The ties will be played on Saturday 10 November.
