ACCRINGTON Stanley could be just one point away from clinching the Conference title.

The Reds' draw at struggling Forest Green Rovers on Friday night took them to 82 points with four games left. Hereford and Halifax can only match that if they win all their games and if Grays do anything other than win tonight then they can't catch Stanley.

Stanley manager John Coleman admitted he will be watching Grays clash with Exeter live on Sky with interest as Stanley close in on the title.

Coleman's side didn't perform to their best at Forest Green - they have never won there - but they did grab a valuable point courtesy of a late David Brown scrambled goal.

Relegation-threatened Rovers performed well in windy and wild conditions and took the lead when a Damon Searle free kick was misjudged by Rob Elliot and Alex Meechan poked the ball home on 73 minutes.

But a Gary Roberts' ball in was somehow scrambled home by Brown in one of Stanley's rare attacks.

"It wasn't a game of football with the conditions," said Coleman. "But I would say it is match point now and we only need one win. We have four games left - with two at home - and we should pick up one win out of those."
