BAMBER Bridge are staging a charity football match on Tuesday December 16 (ko 7pm) to raise money for ex-Stanley defender Stuart Howson.
Howson suffered a double break of his right leg while playing in the Unibond First Division North League.
Howson is an associate PE teacher for a private school, teaching children with social problems, he will have no income for the duration of his incapacity. Stanley boss John Coleman and Jimmy Bell are rumoured to be in the opposition line-up.
