STANLEY player Lutel James has had an operation on a broken bone in his foot.
The striker has carried the injury for some time but stamped down on the ground while playing for loan club Droylsden last week and felt something go.
"I am gutted," said James. "I was feeling fitter than ever. I will have a pot on for six weeks."
