Stanley have cut season ticket prices for all supporters for the 2013/14 season, with an adult paying less than £8.50 per match at early bird prices.

Adult prices for anywhere in the Main Stand or Clayton End of the Store First Stadium – standing or seating – are just £192 before the early bird deadline of April 27.

That works out at a saving of £63 on this season’s prices – and those aged 65 and over will pay just £136.

“We want as many people as possible to be able to come and watch us but we have to accept that these are tough economic times,” said managing director Rob Heys.

“Hopefully by making these reductions we are helping to make sure that cost isn’t a barrier to people who want to come along to the Store First Stadium.

“This is a gesture to the people of Accrington and the surrounding area and we'd like to think it would encourage more through the turnstiles.

“Also with so many other clubs locally we want to get back to being everyone’s second club too and by making our product more affordable hopefully we’ll tempt people from further afield along to the odd game or two.”

New for this season is an offer to encourage the next generation of supporters.

All adults and concessions who buy  season tickets before the early bird deadline are eligible for a free under 12s season ticket, saving £20.

Admission prices will also be reduced significantly for the new campaign with the club keen to attract both new supporters and those with an interest in the Reds to attend matches more often.

Adult admission prices anywhere in the stadium will be just £13, a reduction of £4 on this season’s prices.

Concessions are cut from £12 to £8, students and under 17s from £7 to £5 and under 12s from £2 to £1.

As for those who cannot commit to a season ticket – or who want to bring a large group to one game – the club has introduced a ‘flexi ticket’.

Costing £100, that contains 10 adult match tickets which can be used for any league game.

Once the early bird deadline is over, adult season tickets will cost £216. Those 65 and over will pay £144, students and under 17s £80 and under 12s £20.
