"THEY used to play on Sat’days" is a new book out about Blackburn Rovers.
It covers the history of the Ewood Park club between the two Wembley finals of 1960 and 1987 by means of profiles of 10 players - from Bryan Douglas to Simon Garner.
Author Andrew Rigby says: "It tries to capture what it was like to be a Rovers fan in those less affluent times while reflecting the entertainment the players provided and, at the same time, reflecting changes in both football and society as a whole."
