Accrington Stanley have released seven players after their current deals expire at the Crown Ground.

Jonny Bateson, Andy Parkinson, Chris Turner, Rory Boulding, Zak Riley, Andy Owens and Tom Smyth have not been offered new deals.

The remainder of the squad have either been offered new contracts or remain in negotiations about extending their stays.

Bateson signed on a free transfer last summer following his release by Bradford City and went on to make 15 appearances for the Reds.

The experienced Parkinson was also a summer signing and leaves with 21 Stanley appearances and three goals under his belt, while Boulding made 17 appearances and netted twice in the current campaign .

Turner and Riley both came through the Stanley youth system, though the latter never made an appearance for the first team. Burnley-born Turner departs after three seasons, 66 appearances and three goals.

Owens and Smyth both joined at the start of this season making nine appearances between them.
