ACCRINGTON Stanley unveiled their new home jersey for the next 18 months.

The kit, as worn by Leam Richardson, has been supplied by Spanish supplier Joma and the Reds will run out in it for the first time against Macclesfield on Tuesday.

The Reds didn’t swap their strip at the start of this season and this replaces their Pro-Star one.

"We have had special permission from the Football League to change our strip during the season," said chief executive Rob Heys. "We understand people may have bought the old one at the start of the season so this is what we will wear for the next 18 months. We have changed it as we had a few problems with Pro-Star and this Joma one has won the approval of the players."

Charton, Leicester and Watford wear Joma strips with the Reds the first club in the North of England to wear one.

Replica shirts are available from the club shop priced at £40 for adults and £30 for juniors.
