Darlington 2 Rochdale 1

ROCHDALE suffered a cruel late blow against Darlington in the League Two play-off semi-final first leg clash after Ian Miller scored in injury time.

Earlier, Dale's Chris Dagnall struck to cancel out Jason Kennedy's impressive opener, and Keith Hill's men looked the more likely to score again.

However, with time running out Miller beat Dale keeper Tommy Lee to a free-kick to head home and give Darlington the edge.

   Still looking forward to a Dale v. County wembley final, and I really think its on. Dale are playing well enough to beat an average looking Darlington team, who have a few key players out injured. And county are more than capable of beating the Wycombe thugs, so lets all look forward to a great day out in the sun next bank holiday Monday.

   I wouldn't be too downhearted mate you've been scoring a lot of goals at home. You'll need to get at them from the word go. Get Le Fondre in the starting 11 and you'll have a great chance. All the best.

   Dale Dominated!

Gary Jones committed a needless foul to give away the free kick in 92nd minute!

Then loan keeper Tommy Lee came for the ball and missed it, leaving an open net...... easy!

34 years and still waiting!

Darlington will be hard to beat at Spotland next week - they will park the bus in front of goal!
