BAXENDEN Villa Under 12s drew 2-2 against Feniscowles. Luke Graham scored the opener for Baxenden before poor marking led to Feniscowles racing into the lead. But, late on, Graham struck a right foot shot to level.
Midfielder Jordan Schofield earned the Referee's MOTM with left back Simon Marsden winning the Manager's and Supporters' vote.
The Under 13s drew 2-2 with rivals St Josephs. The Baxenden lads showed great determination after going two goals down with Gareth Munroe scoring both goals to equalise. Midfielder Dominic O'Connor earned the Referee's MOTM with the consistent Jordan Lund taking the Supporters' vote and goalkeeper Connell Green the Manager's vote for some excellent saves including a penalty stop.
The Under 15s got back to winning ways with a 5-1 victory over Ossy Villa. The five goals came from Nick Di-francesco (two), Nathan Griffiths, Mark Williams and an own goal with sub Paul Rigby winning the Manager's MOTM, Darren Thornton the Referee's vote and Scott Lynch earned the Supporters' vote.
Oswaldtwistle St Mary's
On Saturday, the Under 10s won 3-0 against Great Harwood Rovers Tigers. Sam Griffin, Ross Gilrane and Seb Denwood got one each.
On Sunday, the Under nine's lost 2-1 to Mellor Blue with Brad Juliff scoring the only goal. MOTM was James Leech. The Under eights won 2-0 against Darwen Rangers Boys. Last week's MOTM Liam Assalone got one as did Daniel Robinson. This week Dominic Meadowcroft was the pick of the players.
The Under sevens drew 2-2 with Accrington Stanley. James Anderson and Ellis Bickerstaff got one goal each with MOTM Jake Hargreaves.
The Under 11s beat Huncoat United 1-0 in what proved to be a frustrating match. The only goal was scored by Bryn Hargreaves but nearly every other player either hit the crossbar, post or was stopped by Huncoat's excellent keeper. Not to be outdone though St Joseph's own keeper, Daniel Pilkington, pulled off a penalty save to ensure the win. MOTM was Bryn Hargreaves.
The Under 10s turned in their best performance this season to brush aside Barrowford Celtic 7-0. Declan Keeney, Connor Southward and Zach Hallworth made it 3-0. Ben Brierley added a screamer as did Ben Pettifer before Hallworth and Keeney completed the rout.
The Under nine's notched up their first win of the season running out 5-0 winners against Church Rovers. Jack Gaskell, Ben Cawley, skipper Ryan Sanderson all scored a goal apiece before Macauley Stevens added a brace.
The Under nines beat LCP Juniors 5-1 with goals from MOTM Jordan Bury (three), Jack Cox, and Dalton Catterall. The Under nines Red beat Wilpshire Wanderers 6-0.On target were Jordan Whitehead (two), Kamran Khan, Scott Hughes, Daniel Leech and Alfi Wardle. MOTM was Conor Tattersall. The Acrrington and District League Under 10s drew 1-1 in a top of the table clash against Fulledge Colts, with their goal coming from Callum Carter. MOTM was Harris Ali.
The North Valley League Under 10s won 2-1 thanks to goals from Thomas Shaw and Harris Ali. MOTM was Seb Van Noortwijk.
The Warburtons Under 10s beat Burnley Utd 2-0 with both goals coming from Callum Carter. MOTM was again Harris Ali.
Saturday's Accrington and District League Under 11s lost 1-0 against St Josephs, with stand-in goalkeeper Sam Tattersall having a good game. MOTM was Stephen Cassiday.
Blackburn and Darwen's Under 11s won 10-0 against Blackburn Utd with six goals from Brynley Hargreaves. Elliott Neil, Luke Broadhurst, Mathew Fearon and Adam Smith were also on target. MOTM was Andy Eaton.
The Under 12s beat Clitheroe Wolves Rangers 7-1 with goals from MOTM Conor Brown (two), Jordon Howorth, Ben Taylor, Mason Taylor, Jordan Reddaway and Damian Brankin.
The Under 11s managed to score in injury time to come away with a point in a 2-2 draw against Brierfield Celtic Blue. Despite having most of the play, Accrington failed to convert good goal scoring oportunities. Goal scorers were Connor Wyer and Fergus Heyes. MOTM was Zack Simpson.
Congratulations to Knuzden Youth on achieving the prestigious Charter Standard Club awarded by the Football Association. It is a double boost for the club as the senior side have also been awarded the FA Charter Standard Adult Club award.
Great Harwood Rovers
The Under 8s Panthers drew 1-1 with Langho. Despite dominating the first half, Langho went ahead 1-0. Panthers piled the pressure on in the second half and it looked like it would not be their day, but in the last five minutes MOTM Arron Phillipson grabbed an equaliser.
The Under 9s Tigers romped home to win 9-0 against Park Lane, with five goals from Jack Tiffin two from MOTM Keegan Nixon and one from Lewis Thompson.
The Under 9s Panthers were at Clitheroe Wolves, a screamer of a goal from Alex Rawcliffe was enough to get the three points. Bradley Davies was MOTM.
The Under 10s Panthers were beaten by Accrington Stanley Juniors 4-2, goals came from Chris Whitaker and Jordan Knott with Luke Kenyon MOTM.
The Under 13s Panthers were at Ossy Utd in the second round of the cup. The first half started badly for the Panthers conceding from two set pieces. In the second a half a strong Ossy side grabbed two more goals making the final score 4-0 with Jamie Slater MOTM.
The Under 15s B kept up their winning ways beating Huncoat 3-2, goals came from Adam Harbour and Two from Callum O'Connor.
The Under 16s lost 5-2 to Clitheroe Wolves with goals from Martin Trickett and John Bartlett, with Christian Leligua got MOTM.
The Under 14s lost 5-1 to table topping Woodbank Juniors. Scott Wylie scored with Scott Connor MOTM.
The Under 10s won their match 1- 0 with Lewis Barker scoring and the Referee's MOTM award. Danny Hogg was also awarded the Referee's MOTM for the Under 11 Black in their 3-0 victory over Rishton United Blue, with Joshua Robson getting two goals and Kieran Fitzharris the other.
The Under 11s White lost 2-0 to Borrowdale United, the Under 12s lost 6-2 against Barrowford Celtic, Steven Astbury and Jonathan Love getting the goals for Ossy.
Danny Devlin and Conor Filbin both scored for the Under 13s despite losing 5-2 to Belvedere Juniors and the Under 14s were beaten 3-0 by Akzo Juniors.
Sam Cook, Lewis Crabtree and Bryn Potter all scored to come out on top 3-1 against Rishton United for the Under nines and the Under eights were beaten 1-0 by Blue Star Juniors A. The Under sevens were also beaten by Blue Star, 2-1, with Kieran Riley getting the goal for Ossy.
