Observer Snooker Cup 2006
THE two snooker players who lead the way with the highest breaks will clash in the second round of the Observer Snooker Cup.
Both Jonathan Clark, of Oswaldtwistle Con Club, and Jack Dady Junior, from Padiham Snooker Club, enjoyed 3-0 victories in the first round with Jonathan leading the way in the highest breaks stakes with a 78 and Jack on a 59.
It promises to be an entertaining encounter.
Favourites for the competition are former winner Colin Morton who was another 3-0 winner in the first round and Dale Clark, who certainly didn't have it all his own way against tough opponent John Wignall.
Dale eventually won 3-2 in an extremely close game.
