UNLUCKY Great Harwood Town were cursing their poor fortune again as their big money-spinning clash with FC United was postponed at the last minute.

The Robins were expecting a 2,000-plus crowd at the Interlink Express Stadium on Sunday, and many hundreds of FC United fans were already packed into the surrounding pubs when word came through that a frozen pitch had led to the game to be called off.

The match will be rearranged in due course, but it's likely to be rescheduled to a midweek date when the expected crowd would probably be much lower than it would have been this weekend - leading to a much lower pay-day than Town would have hoped for.
