ACCRINGTON Swimming Club enjoyed a splashing time at its presentation evening at the Poplar Club.
Guest of honour was the Mayor, Tony Dobson, wjo presented prizes along with Jonathan Swinn from sponsors Buy-the-House estate agents.
The club enjoyed a good season, finishing second in the Friendly League, but it will remain in that league after being pipped in the final gala by winners Great Harwood.
Swimmers who have done well for the club are Karl White, Sue Baron and Dave Henry who all swam for the Lancashire Masters side while Jon Cooney swam for Great Britain in the world deaf championships.
