SIX-times World Snooker Champion Steve Davis will be coming to Accrington to take on the local talent.
The snooker legend will be at Hyndburn Sports Centre on Sunday 9 May from 7pm for the 2004 Snooker Charity event, organised by the North Lancs Training Group.
The night is a culmination of six weeks of heats where youngsters in categories of Under 12s, 14s, 16s and 18s have competed against each other. The winner of each category will face Steve.
There will also be frames to raise money for the two charities chosen - Maundy Relief and Christies for Cancer - and the evening will be finished off with trick shots.
Tickets are available from local snooker clubs in the area, Hyndburn Sports Centre, or the NLTG head hffice, Bradshawgate House, Oak Street, Accrington, priced £6.
