GREAT Harwood are struggling to find their scoring boots after three goalless draws.

The Robins missed chances against Leek CSOB on Saturday and are now on a run of five consecutive draws.

But they hope to refind their winning form tomorrow (Sat) when they travel to Eccleshall (ko 3pm) and then have a big local derby against Nelson on Monday (7.45) at Accrington Stanley.

"We are defending well but we just can't score to save our lives at the moment," said boss John Hughes.

"I think if we get one we will get a handful but we just need that one.

"John Eastham has got some new boots and I have told him to get his old ones back out!

"Striker Yakub Khan has come back from injury after four weeks out and he should have scored on Saturday but tired towards the end.

"We are trying to walk it in and we have got to be more positive and get our confidence back in front of goal."

He has tried to boost his strikeforce with the addition of James Blackburn from Colne. He had hoped the youngster would start Wednesday night's game against Daisy Hill but it was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.

"Nelson is a big game for us and we seem to raise our game against the bigger sides and struggle against the Leeks and Chaddertons of this world," said the boss.

"We beat Nelson at their place but they are going well. We know we can defend it is just a case of getting the goals now."
