Nikki wins the Challenge

TEENAGE golfers Nikki Foster and Charlotte Wild proved the perfect combination to win the Northern Foursomes Close Amateur Challenge Cup.
Accrington golfer Nikki, 16, paired up with 18-year-old Charlotte at Warrington Golf Club.
Nikki, who has a three handicap, plays for Lancashire Girls and Charlotte, a two handicapper, is the Cheshire girls champion.
In the final, they were five holes up after nine against Hopwood’s Sue Warrington and her Clitheroe partner Christine Stokes before completing a three and two victory.
Charlotte is the daughter of Martin Wild who played with Nikki’s father Trevor in the Lancashire County team in the 1980s and 90s.
