Pop star Diana Vickers has jetted off to the USA to film a music video for her eagerly anticipated second album.

The Huncoat singer told her fans on social networking site Twitter that she was going out to Los Angeles to make the video.

The 21-year-old also posted pictures on the site including one of wigs being used for her video and another blowing a kiss to her 363,000 followers.

She tweeted on March 28: “Going out to play in LA...

“On set for my new music video for my 2nd album!! So so excited!!!!!

“We’re wiggin’ out on set.”

The next day she tweeted: “Yum yum yum last LA breakfast! Where we were casually sat next to whooping Goldberg.

“I don’t want to leave LA. I’m actually hear broken about the whole thing. BOOOOO!!!”

The singer-songwriter shot to fame in 2008 after reaching the semi-final of The X Factor.

Her debut album Songs from the Tainted Cherry Tree was released in November 2009 selling more than 200,000 copies with lead single ‘Once’ reaching the number one spot.

It promises to be a big year for Diana who will appear in the film The Perfect Wave later this year starring Clint Eastwood's son Scott. The film was shot last year in Cape Town, South Africa.
