Hundreds of mobile phones have been stolen by burglars from a warehouse in a high value warehouse raid.

The burglary took place in the early hours of Monday, February 1 at the Exertis Ltd on Shorten Brook Way in Altham.

A total of 500 phones were stolen, including 170 boxed iPhone 6S and 380 Samsung Galaxy S5 Neos.

Police said three offenders forced entry to a window, climbed into the premises and removed a large number of boxed mobile phones before leaving via the window with the stolen goods.

DS Melissa Kelly, from East CID, said: “We are conducting enquiries in the area and we are keen to hear from anyone who has any information that could assist with our ongoing investigation.

“Two males were disturbed near to the premises the previous evening and we believe this could be linked to the burglary.

“If anyone witnessed any suspicious activity nearby then please get in touch.

“I would also urge anyone who may have been offered an iPhone 6S or Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo to contact us with any information.”

Anyone with information can call police quoting log 212 of February 1.
