Finding lost property after thousands of football fans leave a stadium isn't unusal.

But one Accrington Stanley supporter is missing something pretty important.

The Reds took to Twitter in the hope of reuniting a fan with a set of FALSE TEETH left behind on Saturday.

Following a gripping 2-1 win against AFC Wimbledon at the Wham Stadium, one fan clearly got a little bit too excited by the three-point haul - leaving their gnashers in the stand.

The League One side took to Twitter in the hope of reuniting the supporter with his estranged set of teeth.

The post elicited a number of hilarious responses, but the owner is still yet to be found.

Including a snap of the lost dentures, the tweet read: "Found: Has anybody lost their false teeth at Accrington Stanley this afternoon? They are being kept in the office!"

Accrington Stanley sit ninth in the League One table, following three wins, five draws and one loss from their opening nine games.

John Coleman's side took the lead inside six minutes, after Billy Kee opened the scoring with low, slotted effort from the edge of the box.

Sean McConville then doubled the lead in the second half, before Scott Wagstaff pulled one back for AFC Wimbledon in the 68th minute.

Accrington face Walsall away next Saturday.
