Police are appealing for information after a man was spotted committing a sex act in his car.
The white man, in his late 40s or early 50s, was parked in a silver car on Dill Hall Lane in Church and spotted by a woman passer-by.
The offender was wearing a grey or blue jumper and had no trousers on.
Police believe the incident is unconnected to two similar incidents reported in Oswaldtwistle in the past few weeks.
DI Nikki Bithell said: “We have looked at this incident and the previous two and we can't see any link between any of them.
“The descriptions of the offenders are completely different and it just seems to be a coincidence.
“He was parked on the cemetery side of the road near the roundabout and we are appealing for anyone who saw him to call police.”
The incident happened at around 5.30pm on Saturday, September 21
