Arsonists blamed for car fire in Oswaldtwistle

Arsonists are being blamed for torching a car on a residential street.

Firefighters from Hyndburn and police were called to Frederick Street in Oswaldtwistle to put out a burning car on the roadway.

A fire service spokesperson said the vehicle was severely damaged by fire and the incident is being treated as suspicious.

It happened at around 7am on Saturday, May 2 and is being investigated by police.
