Arsonists are being blamed following a house fire.
Two fire crews from Hyndburn and one from Blackburn were called to Elizabeth Street in Accrington where it was reported people could be trapped inside.
Firefighters entered using breathing apparatus and confirmed nobody was inside following a search.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire is being treated as ‘suspicious’ and a joint investigation with the police is under way. The incident happened at around 10.15pm on Friday, March 13.
A police spokesperson said they were called to the scene after a reports of a fire and no arrests have been made.
