Cases heard at Blackburn Magistrates Court:

Mark Richard Beverley, 37, of Henfield Close, Clayton-le-Moors, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order. He was fined £50, ordered to pay £50 costs and a £100 criminal courts charge.

Elizabeth Creasey, 19, of Park Street, Accrington, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community. She was fined £50.

Jamie Lee King, 22, of Brunswick Terrace, Accrington, pleaded guilty to attempting to steal money from a display ticket machine, possessing cannabis, breaching a restraining order while subject to a suspended sentence order and a conditional discharge order. He was jailed for a total of 42 weeks, ordered to pay £85 costs, compensation of £202 and a £180 criminal courts charge.

Philip James Harris, 58, of Grimshaw Street, Great Harwood, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention. He was fined £80 and given three points on his driving licence.

Anthony Anderton, 28, of Haslingden Old Road, Oswaldtwistle, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Tracey Anne Ashworth, 45, of Knowlmere Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer in the execution of her duty. She was fined £70, ordered to pay £50 compensation and £85 costs.

Anthony Jordan, 40, of Knowlmere Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to producing five cannabis plants. He was fined £210 and ordered to pay £85 costs.

Anthony Lawrence Armstrong, 31, of Badge Brow, Oswaldtwistle, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. He was given a three-month conditional discharge order and ordered to pay £50 compensation.

Altaf Hussain, 32, of Fife Street, Accrington, was found guilty in his absence of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver to police. He was fined £600 and ordered to pay £125 costs.

Rebecca Anderson, 18, of Percy Street, Accrington, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £55 and must pay £120 costs.

Mary Josephine Rooney, 32, of Evesham Close, Accrington, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £200 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

Charlotte Roper, 21, of Spring Street, Rishton, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £55 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

Shirley Sharing, 38, of Kingsley Close, Church, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £200 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

Nicole Studholme, 40, of Queens Road, West, Accrington, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £55 and must pay £120 costs.

Sarah Thorp, 45, of Watson Street, Oswaldtwistle, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £55 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

Caroline Ward, 35, of Read Street, Clayton-le-Moors, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £55 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

Keith Ward, 51, of Elizabeth Street, Accrington, was found guilty in his absence of using a television without a licence. He was fined £55 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

James Andrew French, 26, of Claremont Road, Accrington, pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. He was given a 12-month community order with a nine-month alcohol treatment requirement, a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement, fined £5, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Benjamin Green, 27, of Orchard Drive, Oswaldtwistle, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order. He was given a new 12-month community order with 50 hours unpaid work.
