An investigation has been launched by police after a man was found dead in Accrington.
Officers and paramedics were called to the Frederick Street area after the body of a man was discovered by a passer-by at 11.30 am on Christmas Eve.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his death is being treated as 'unexplained'.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "A body was found this morning at 11.30am on Frederick Street in Accrington by a member of the public.
"It is currently an unexplained death and is being investigated by the force major investigation team."
