Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Great Harwood.

A 28-year-old man was approached by another male in The Walmsley Arms in Queen Street at around 8.15pm on Sunday, November 8.

The man punched the 28-year-old in the face, knocking him unconscious.

The victim lost a tooth and suffered a black eye in the assault. Police would like to speak to the man pictured in connection with the incident.

PC Neil Ogden, of Blackburn Police, said: “This was a nasty, unprovoked attack which left a man unconscious.

“We would appeal to anyone who recognises this individual to contact police immediately.

“Likewise, we would like to speak to anyone inside the pub who witnessed this attack.

“The pub was busy at the time of the assault and we believe there must be someone who knows who this man is.”
