CCTV images of two men have been released by police following an assault at a pub in Great Harwood.

The victim, a 23-year-old man, was attacked by two men at around 11.30pm on Friday, May 6 at The Walmsley Arms on Queen Street.

The victim sustained injuries to his face and a split lip which required stitches. He also had four teeth chipped as a result of the attack.

Det Sgt Simon Upton, of East CID, said: “This was a vicious attack on a man who was simply enjoying a night at the pub and he has been left with some nasty facial injuries.

“We are keen to speak to the two men pictured in the CCTV images in connection with our on-going enquiries and I would urge anyone who recognises them to contact us as soon as possible.”
