Eight year old cyclist suffers broken leg in Accrington crash

An eight-year-old boy suffered a fractured leg after colliding with a car.

Police said the young cyclist pedalled out into the road and collided with a saloon car.

He was taken to hospital for treatment on a fractured leg.

The collision happened at the junction of Hyndburn Road and Oxford Street in Accrington at around 4pm on Tuesday, October 29.
