Firefighters climbed through a first floor house window to retrieve a set of spare keys after a disabled man had locked himself out.
Shaun Carlisle, acting crew manager at Hyndburn, said fire crews used an extension ladder to enter the property and get the spare key to let him in.
He said the man in his 40s was 'distressed' when they arrived at the house on Mary Street, Rishton at 12.15am on Tuesday, July 9.
