Firefighters respond to gas leak alert

Firefighters were alerted this morning after reports of a gas leak.

Fire crews from Hyndburn and Blackburn stations attended Henry Street in Church in the early hours of Friday, February 27.

They had received reports of a ‘strong smell of gas’ coming from a flat. Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service carried out an investigation, however no gas or flammable liquid was found.
