A four-year-old boy has been injured in a road accident in Great Harwood.

Police were alerted by the ambulance service to the incident on Lomax Street at around 4.30pm on Wednesday, April 20.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: “The boy was in collision with a Vauxhall Astra, he was taken by ambulance to Manchester Children’s Hospital with cuts and bruises and a slight injury to his ear.”
