A group of girls were flashed at by two different men within the space of ten minutes.

Police say the two separate incidents happened within 10 minutes of each other in Accrington.

The first exposure incident happened at around 7.50am on Wednesday, February 10 on Annie Street.

Inspector John Fryer said a man shouted ‘oi, girls’ to get their attention before undoing his trousers and exposing himself before running away.

The girls ran off and contacted police. Two of the girls were later flashed at by another man on a nearby street.

Insp Fryer said: “We have had reassurance patrols in the area since the incidents. It’s quite concerning what these intentions were.”

The man in the first incident is described as white with a thin build, in his 20s or 30s with a black stubbly beard, less than 5ft 5ins tall and wearing black pants, work-type coat and a hat.

The second male is described as white, in his 20s or 30s with a medium build, around 5ft 4ins tall and wearing a light brown jumper and black pants, with dark brown hair which was described as ‘messy, unkempt and bushy’.
