Hundreds of bikers turned out to pay their respects to a Clayton-le-Moors man who was killed in a road accident earlier this month.

Kevin Donaghue, 46, known as Dog, died in a collision with a car in Blackburn on Monday, February 2.

Mr Donaghue, from Devonshire Drive, was a member of the God’s Squad Christian Motorcycle Club North chapter and had served in the RAF for more than 20 years.

Members of the club and fellow bikers from the UK, Germany and beyond packed into All Saints Church in the town for a service to celebrate the RAF veteran’s life.

A procession was led to Pleasington Crematorium in Blackburn, with Mr Donaghue’s bike ridden by a close friend.

Members of the God Squad expressed their gratitude to all those who came to the funeral on Friday, February 20.

Mr Donaghue’s family set up a Memory Giving page for donations to the Dog’s Trust and Royal British Legion in his memory.
